About Scouts CanadaThe Fraser Valley Council supports and administers Scouting in the Fraser Valley area of British Columbia. Fraser Valley Council is one of twenty two Councils that make up Scouts Canada, and one of three in British Columbia and the Yukon.

The Fraser Valley Council encompasses the geographical area from Tsawwassen in the West, to the village of Anmore in the North, to the town of Hope in the East, but not including Richmond, Burnaby, Vancouver or areas north of Vancouver.

With more than 100,000 members, Scouts Canada (see
www.scouts.ca) is the nation’s premier youth-serving organization. Fraser Valley Council has about 8,000 members: 6,500 youth and about 1,500 volunteers.

We are looking for crest designs for the Cuboree and Beaveree The Badges should be no larger than 3 1/2 inches, and a maximum of 7 colours. The crest will need FVC Cuboree/Camporee or FVC Beaveree and the year 2015 The theme for Cuboree/Camporee is Carnival The theme for Beavere is Medieval Crest designs must be received by March 6, 2015 the badges will be chosen at the FVC Round Table on March 10, 2015 Please send crest designs to Dianne Sawatzky at diannes1955@gmail.com or they can be dropped off or mailed to 14773 84 Ave, Surrey BC V3S 2M4 More »

21 years later and the weather at the end of November is always great for Cub Skills. This years 21st edition hosted over 250 youth, leaders, parents and Offers of Service in 12 different skill stations. The activities included Water Safety, T-Shirt Printing, Rope Making, Compass & Orienteering, Simple Shelters, Knife Safety, Camp Gadgets, Flex Challenge, Scouts Own, First Aid, Campfire, Knots and Fire Lighting.
