About Scouts CanadaThe Fraser Valley Council supports and administers Scouting in the Fraser Valley area of British Columbia. Fraser Valley Council is one of twenty two Councils that make up Scouts Canada, and one of three in British Columbia and the Yukon.

The Fraser Valley Council encompasses the geographical area from Tsawwassen in the West, to the village of Anmore in the North, to the town of Hope in the East, but not including Richmond, Burnaby, Vancouver or areas north of Vancouver.

With more than 100,000 members, Scouts Canada (see is the nation’s premier youth-serving organization. Fraser Valley Council has about 8,000 members: 6,500 youth and about 1,500 volunteers.

Scouting Skills is being held on April 10th, 11th and 12th at CAMP McLEAN, - 20315 16th Ave., LANGLEY You pick the course that suits you best in each of the time periods. The courses are open to all registered Scouters, Venturer Scouts, Rover Scouts, Guiders and Rangers. Ranger & Venturer members must have appropriate paperwork completed for camp. Spring Break is fast approaching so the time is NOW to register for JOTT! Why you might ask? Well past experience has shown that it is the early bird that gets the worm and JOTT registration is no exception. Last year we had an overwhelming 500+ Scouting members wanting to experience this World Wide Event. As well, it is nearly impossible to get your information and monies together once Spring Break arrives. Many Leaders, Families, Group Committee and most importantly, Treasurers are away. Kids Bored??? If you are 8-11 years old and looking for some excitement during Spring Break!!! We Have the Solution …. Come and join us for Spring Break Camp from March 16 to March 20. A week of fun, adventure and challenge. There will be games, crafts, archery, campfires and other exciting Scouting activities. You can come and stay overnight or just come for the day, the choice is yours. Either way you’ll have lots of fun. Scouts Canada, Fraser Valley Council is seeking applicants for the position of Area Commissioner for the following Areas: WestSurDel Area - encompasses North Delta, Ladner and Tsawwassen, with a membership of 550 youth and adults. Green Timbers Area – encompasses Central Surrey, Whalley, Newton, Fleetwood and Guildford with a membership of 500 youth and adults. We are looking for crest designs for the Cuboree and Beaveree The Badges should be no larger than 3 1/2 inches, and a maximum of 7 colours. The crest will need FVC Cuboree/Camporee or FVC Beaveree and the year 2015 The theme for Cuboree/Camporee is Carnival. The theme for Beaveree is Medieval. Crest designs must be received by March 6, 2015 the badges will be chosen at the FVC Round Table on March 10, 2015.
